Centre Manager
My Name is Lauren Scott and I am your Centre Manager at Sunkids Calamvale Central.
I have been working in the Early Childhood industry for ten years and in this time I have completed my Certificate 3 and Diploma of Early childhood education and care. Throughout these years I have worked as an assistant and up to a senior educator, Assistant Manager and now Centre Manager.
I have been working with Sunkids for a little over four years, I first started out at Sunkids Eight Mile Plains and later transferred to Sunkids Ormiston and now Sunkids Calamvale Central.
I am very passionate about my chosen career and value early childhood education as the foundation for lifelong learning. I believe that each child is unique and should be viewed, respected and treated as such. And for that reason, I wholeheartedly believe in the Sunkids value that each child is a precious trust. I value the importance of providing and maintaining an optimum level of care and education for all children.
One aspect of my job that I value the most is meeting and welcoming families into our centre. I believe building strong partnerships with families is invaluable and respecting each family’s values and wishes is first and foremost.
